The management and operation of the Research and Development activities of SDTC are being carried out by the following communities.

A management committee consisting of the Director, IISc as ex officio Chairman, Chief Executive, SID as ex officio member, upto three persons nominated by the Director, IISc and upto four persons nominated by SDTT shall provide the overall management of SDTC. The committee will meet twice a year.

A Scientific Advisory Committee consisting of the Chairman, Biological Science Division, IISc as ex officio Chairman, upto three persons nominated by the Director, IISc and upto three persons nominated by SDTT will guide the scientific and technical activities of SDTC. This SAC will meet four times a year.

SDTC will have its own staff for carrying out its day to day activities. The activities of SDTC will be conducted according to the guidelines followed by SID and subject to the regulatory safeguards and appropriate ethical standards of IISc.
